Just when you thought things in the Middle East couldn't get more insane, the Burj Khalifa opened this past monday in Dubai. The Burj is now the tallest building in the world. Almost twice as tall as the CN Tower!
Check out this pretty sweet video of a guy on top of the building during construction. I've never really been that great with heights. I totally would have shit my pants if I was up there.
Here's another video of the opening ceremony. Another good example of how Dubai has a shit ton of money and can't find better ways of using it.
